Sony Ericsson preparing two new phones for the new year

Sony Ericsson is said to be working on two new phones for the new year. The first one is code named Hikaru and is targeted as a high end device, may be even a Xperia X1 derivative or successor, who knows? Details are still sketchy so, it is not exactly clear as to where it will fit in the portfolio or what its specs are. However, it appears the Hikaru will have a large touchscreen, similar to the mockup that UnwiredView created.

Another phone that SE is working on is code named Twiggy. It has 240 x 320 pixels display, a 3 MP camera and two color versions and scheduled to be released in Q2, 2009.
