Over the weekend, two more luxury phones were announced. One each from Christian Dior and Tag Heur. Christian Dior Mini is a clamshell phone that is 3G capable and most likely a GSM phone as it will run worldwide, except Japan and Korea. It has all the standard accoutrements of a luxury phone including a touchscreen, camera, specialist ringtones and, probably, custom graphics, wallpapers. It also has an unusual accessory, “My Dior” mini-phone which is a separate smaller phone and can wirelessly sync to the main phone. My Dior can be attached to the outside of a bag or purse for easy access and it can both receive as well as make calls. It will costs $3,500-$5000.

The Tag Heur Meridiist is a candy-bar phone with two screens. The main screen is a 1.9″ QVGA screen with sapphire coating for durability. On top of the main screen is a smaller OLED screen that shows key status indicators. It comes with 2Mpxl camera and bluetooth. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
