Verizon plans on making New Every Two less attractive

According to some internal Verizon Wireless papers got by Boy Genius Report, it is busy planning to reduce the love for its loyal customers right after Valentine’s Day. On Feb. 15th, the New Every Two plan will see some changes that will reduce the discount for renewals based on the plans subscribed. So, if you have a calling plan between $34 and $79 and you are a current customer then your discount will by $50 while calling plans greater than $79 will get $100 discount. A new customer after Feb 15th will get $30 discount for calling plans under $79 and $50 for calling plans higher than $79 under the New Every Two.

Also, VZW is phasing out its Test Drive program and new customers trying out its network after Feb 15th, will have to pay for the wireless access and usage charges
