Blackberry Storm demos coming to Verizon stores soon
This just in: Verizon is preparing Blackberry Storm demos for the stores. We are working to confirm this tip, but according to the tip, it appears starting next week, Verizon stores will have Blackberry Storm on hand for users to play with. At that time, users will also be able to place pre-orders with delivery beginning in November. While no dates were confirmed, the tipster thinks that the November 7th date mentioned earlier might be spot on. This also jibes with the October 9th press event by RIM, Verizon Wireless and Vodafone.
Verizon to launch Blackberry Storm on Nov 7?
There are rumblings of major joint press event on October 9th by RIM, Verizon Wireless and Vodafone in New York, according to Boy Genius Report. BGR has also heard that Verizon Wireless might launch the phone on November 7th and Vodafone will launch it on November 9th. As of now these are still unconfirmed. So, if any of you out there have any inside information, drop me a line. I promise to not reveal the source.
Dummy Blackberry Storm hits Verizon stores
Looks like the Blackberry Storm is here. Well, actually, just the dummy, floor models are in the Verizon store. And Crackberry user manage to get some photos of the dummy. Clearly, the photos indicate the launch date is approaching fast, though no word on the actual launch date yet. However, what is intriguing is that if you look closely at the blurred background in one of the shots, there is a price of $149. Is that what this is going to be priced at with two year contract? I doubt it but then again I hope so.

Will Verizon launch Blackberry Storm on Nov 3rd?
Could Verizon be launching Blackberry Storm on November 3rd? That is a possibility, based on the internal training document that Engadget manage to snag. According to this document, employees are required to complete the Blackberry Storm feature training by November 2nd. So, conceivably, Verizon could launch the Storm on November 3rd. However, I think the November 8th might be more realistic. Also, in that document, employees are required to complete their Touch Diamond training by December 3rd. So, Touch Diamond could launch few weeks before Christmas.

Boy Genius Report manage to get their hands on some cool photos of the Vodafone branded Blackberry Storm. If this is what the Storm software looks like, I cannot wait to get my hands on it.
Some Blackberry Storm “Wow”
Here is some updates on the Blackberry Storm. First off, sources tell Blackberry News that the Blackberry Storm will come in two flavors, the GSM only version for Europe which will launch exclusively with Vodafone in coming months and the other North American flavor with CDMA support, which isheaded for Bell and also as we already know to Verizon soon. And, speaking of Verizon, Boy Genius Report manage to get its hands on an internal memo with specs that is presumably ment for Verizon to “wow” the consumers. Here are the specs from the memo.
Looks like they have thought of everything. And they feel so good about their network that they have not included Wi-Fi support on the phone. I don’t know if that is a good thing or not.
