Mobile Review in Russia has conducted an in-depth review of the 8Mpxl camera on Samsung Innov8, complete with pictures and video. The highlight of it is the camera’s photo-taking ability including macro photos, usability, panoramic mode, and specs of the camera, listed below:
- Focal Length – 5.70 mm
- ISO 50-1600
- Mechanical shutter
- LED flash
- Samsung-branded lens
- Maximum image resolution – 3264×2448 pixels
Mobile Review also did side-by-side comparison of the Innov8 camera against a Cannon IXUS70, a 7.1 digital camera. Looking at the photos, Innov8 stands very well against the Cannon. It is definitely better than other camera phones and also some simpler digital cameras.
There are two drawbacks: an LED flash that is not powerful and night-time mode does not do very well due to the weak flash. Overall though, the camera is very powerful for everyday use and owners will enjoy the unit without any complaints. You can read the entire review here.

The i7110 is a multimedia phone with 5Mpxl camera with flash, music player and FM radio. It is unclear whether it will have GPS. Also not announced are the pricing or release dates, though it looks like the launch might be near.
